Privacy Policy

Chirp Finder: Smoke Alarm Beep ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). The short version: everything stays on your iPhone. We collect nothing, and there is no account.
1. Microphone
With your permission, the App listens through your microphone while you have it listening, to detect alarm chirps and alarm patterns. The sound is analysed as it arrives and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Listening stops when you stop it, leave the app or lock the phone.
2. Camera and photos
With your permission, the App uses the camera, or a photo you choose, to read the text on an alarm's back label (its brand, model and dates). The text is read on your iPhone. If you save the alarm, a copy of the label photo is kept with it on your iPhone.
3. Data stored on your device
- My Alarms: each alarm's room name, brand, model, type, dates and optional label photo.
- History: each session's chirp pattern, the ranking and the result.
- Preferences: settings, free-tier counters and whether you have Pro.
None of it leaves your iPhone. Deleting the App deletes all of it.
4. Notifications
Replace-by reminders are local notifications created on your iPhone. No push service is involved.
5. No analytics, no trackers, no network
The App contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters or third-party trackers, shows no ads, and makes no network requests of its own. We operate no servers that hold user data. We don't track your location.
6. Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the App whether you have Pro; we never see your payment details or Apple ID.
7. Children
The App is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
